James Hooper is the Founder and Sole Creator of the Butterfly Facelift®, a customized approach developed from more than 30 years of experience with advanced wellness, recovery and rejuvenation technologies. Since opening his private Costa Mesa studio in 2010, James has focused on personalized, natural-looking facial rejuvenation.

Recently went to Newport Beach Skin Tightening for a scar removal treatment with Jim, and I’m honestly really happy with my experience. The treatment included microneedling and another add-on (can’t remember the name!), but the whole thing was painless thanks to Jim’s strong numbing cream. After first session, I can already see my acne scars softening and blending into my skin. My skin feels smoother, and I’m starting to get my confidence back, excited to see the results and will update after my second visit. Consultation was super comfortable as well, Jim took his time showed me the exact areas that needed work, and also explained everything clearly. He’s a genuinely nice guy and really knows his craft. If you’re thinking about improving your skin or bringing back a more youthful look, I definitely recommend giving Jim a try.

What is the Butterfly Facelift®?
The Butterfly Facelift® is a customized, non-surgical rejuvenation experience created by James Hooper. It brings up to seven complementary technologies (all seven in the Signature Butterfly Facelift®) together in one personalized session designed to support a lifted, refreshed appearance.
How soon will I see results?
Visible results are typically seen the same day. Your skin will continue to improve over the following 3–6 months as your collagen rebuilds and remodels naturally. Individual results vary.
How long can results last?
Many clients may see benefits for approximately 12–18 months, although longevity varies based on age, skin condition, treatment plan, lifestyle, and individual response. Some clients report longer-lasting improvement. Many choose to return annually to maintain their results.
Is there downtime?
Downtime depends on the technologies included in your personalized treatment. Temporary redness, tenderness or swelling may occur, particularly when microneedling or more intensive technologies are used. Many clients return to normal activities quickly, although individual recovery experiences vary. We will explain what to expect before your treatment.
How do I know which treatment option is right for me?
Each Butterfly Facelift® option offers a different level of rejuvenation, number of technologies, treatment area, treatment time, and price — the Mini (four technologies) is best for mild concerns or maintenance, the Butterfly Facelift® (six technologies) suits mild-to-moderate facial and neck concerns, and the Signature (seven technologies) is the most comprehensive option.
